Thank you for your interest in The NANYANG MBA. Application for July 2009 intake is now open.
Please read through the notes and procedures carefully before applying.
Important Notes to Applicants:
- Please do not request for an application form to be mailed to you if you have submitted your application electronically using the online application form.
- Please read through the Application Procedure listed below carefully before completing the online application form. The submission of an incomplete application will cause delay in the processing of your application. A complete application includes the receipt of the items as described in Steps 1 to 4 listed below, after which your application will then be processed.
- Documents submitted in support of your application are non-returnable. Please send only clearly legible photocopies of documents. Original documents should not be submitted. The University will not be responsible for the loss or damage of original documents submitted.
- Please note that application number will be generated automatically and almost immediately if your ONLINE application has been successfully sent. Kindly take note of this application number for future enquiry and checking of application status.
- Upon receipt of your application, complete with all the items as described in Steps 2 to 4 listed below, an acknowledgement email will be sent to you. You may check your application status online here only AFTER 3-4 working days after your online submission.
- Only successful applicants will be notified.
- Any false or inaccurate information, or omission of material information, will render your application invalid. Students admitted on the basis of such information may have their candidature terminated by the University.
Procedures:
Step 1 Submission of Application
Please complete the online application form and send it to us electronically. This should be followed by steps 2 - 4.
Step 2 Submission of Referee's Report Form (2 copies), Company Approval Form (for part-time applicants only) and Checklist
You need the software Acrobat Reader in order to view and print the forms. If you do not have Acrobat Reader, please download and install the Acrobat Reader for Windows 95, Windows 3.1, Window-NT, DOS, Macintosh, OS2, LINUX, etc.
The referee's reports must be written in English and referees must be your supervisors or superiors who are in a position to judge your professional or managerial performance. Your referee may send in the referee report via email to mba.admissions@ntu.edu.sg with the subject line "Application Number M090XXXX - Referee report"
The email must be sent from your referee's company or organisation email address.
Step 3 Payment of Application Fee
Each application must be accompanied by a non-refundable application fee of S$50 for online application (inclusive of 7% GST). Your cheque must be made payable to 'Nanyang Technological University' with your name and address written on the reverse side of the cheque. For foreign applicants, please pay by bank draft (not by cheque), with a clearing bank in Singapore. Alternatively, you may also pay by VISA/MasterCard through internet payment. Please do not send cash payment by post. The University will not be responsible for any loss of cash payment submitted by post.
Step 4 Submission of Supporting Documents
Upon submission of your online application, please send the following supporting documents to us as soon as possible to complete your application.
- Non-refundable application fee of S$50 for online application
- Two passport size photographs (please write your name on the reverse side of each photograph)
- Two Referee's Reports in sealed envelopes or via email (Please refer to step 2)
- Company Approval (for part-time applicants only)
- Documentary evidence of financial support in the form of bank statement or letter of sponsorship (for full-time international applicants only)
And photocopies of:
- GMAT Score Report (The institution code for NTU is V24-ZV-13.)
- TOEFL Score Report, if applicable
- Degree Scroll(s) (must be in English, otherwise an official English translation must be provided)
- Transcript(s) of academic records from each university attended (must be in English, otherwise an official English translation must be provided)
- GCE 'A' Level Certificate or pre-university or high schoolcertificate (university entrance exam results)
- Professional Membership Certificates, if any
- NRIC/Passport/Citizenship Certificate/Documentary proof of Singapore Permanent Resident Status (eg. Re-entry Permit)
- Documentary evidence of Immigration Pass (e.g. Employment Pass or Dependant's Pass) issued by the Singapore Immigration & Registration, if applicable
- For those residing in India, please submit your CAT (Common Admission Test) score if you have taken the test. This is to supplement GMAT, and not to replace it. The other admission requirements remain unchanged.
