The ROADMAP for Admissions to The NANYANG MBA
We are highly selective throughout the admissions process. Besides having a complete application in order to be processed, the admission process entails several stages of selection, which culminates in a deliberate process of decision making at the end.
ADMISSIONS PROCESS

Admissions Selection
Selection for admission into The NANYANG MBA is a 3 stage process : assessment, interview, and final decision.
What are we looking for:
The ADCom looks at four (4) broad areas in selecting candidates for admission into the program:
Intellectual Capacity
The ADCom looks for evidence of superior academic performance and intellectual ability, and for non-native English speakers, evidence of proficient English skills for success in the program.
Professional Experience
The NANYANG MBA seeks innovative students who demonstrate potential for action-oriented leadership in the world of practical affairs. Successful candidates are able to demonstrate strength in our criteria regardless of the number of years of their work experience.
Leadership
While there will be plenty of leadership learning during the program itself, the ADCom seeks people with demonstrated leadership capabilities or potential for higher leadership who are capable of delivering or exceeding targets.
Personal Qualities & Characteristics
The ADCom looks for breadth of life experiences, including personal characteristics such as integrity, motivation, maturity, and self-awareness. An interest in sustainability and social responsibility, and other factors such as international exposure, diversity, and culture/gender sensitivity are also taken into consideration. In addition, we value a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
The ADMISSIONS PROCESS

1. Assessment
All received applications for each application round will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee (ADCom), based on the admission criteria. This assessment will contribute to the over-all decision making process for your admission into The NANYANG MBA program and determines if you will proceed to Stage 2, the interview.
2. Interview
Interviews play a critical role in assessing candidates for admission. We look for individuals with strong interpersonal and communication skills, who are able to articulate clearly ideas and perspectives.
Interviews are by invitation only, following the assessment in Stage 1. You will receive e-mail with instructions on when and how the interview will be conducted at the time of invitation. Interviews are conducted after each round of application. No applicant is admitted without an interview. The results of the interview and the previous assessment will determine your eligibility to proceed to the next stage.
3. Final Selection
With the inputs from the previous two stages, a final review will be conducted by ADCom, to select the candidates for admission into the programme. Decisions are announced via e-mail and posted to your online account .
Thereafter, the selected applicant will receive an e-mail advice, followed by a formal letter of offer. You will need to formally accept the offer in order to be formally admitted into the program. Admitted students are invited to contact The NANYANG MBA office or to visit the School for any assistance.
