The NANYANG MBA Career XCellence Center’s (CXC) main objective is to work with you to increase your brand and economic value so as to enhance your leadership career across the globe, right through into your Alumni years.
To achieve this objective, we will build with each one of you a TALENT EnREACH Ecosystem to enable you to determine and develop your individual career maps, and progression, and eventual career success.
The Talent EnREACH Ecosystem comprises two main drivers:
Personal Development
- Self-Awareness and Career Direction - Providing an increased awareness of personal preference, values, aspirations, and career choices.
- Networking & Culturalisation – Developing interpersonal sensitivity, confidence and ability to lead, motivate and work with different nationalities.
- Academic Asset Acquisition – Acquiring necessary academic prowess for certain career tracks.
Professional Charting & Enhancement
- Sector Leverage & Interconnectivity – Engaging Alumni and Business Leaders to enhance your standing in the Sector eco-system.
- Continual Knowledge & Competency Acquisition – Developing a “Brand Model” for Leadership Success.
- Increasing Professional Value & Career Mapping – Actively engage with Headhunters/Recruitment Firms throughout your career to “map and build” your “ROI value” to organizations at key points in your career.
You will constantly be “engaged” in your Ecosystem throughout our NANYANG MBA programme, and beyond, in 3 broad time-packets:
1st Trimester – Branding. You will be exposed to preparatory sessions on self-branding, CV and Relevance Cover preparation, interview skills, presentation skills, and personal preparation. You will engage with career specialists, headhunters, HR from top 50 organisations, and competency experts.
2nd Trimester – Connecting. You will engage MBA Alumni, Business Leaders, and prepare to undertake projects/internships, corporate social responsibility projects, as “NANYANG MBA Ambassadors”, as preparation for your next leadership career role.
Last 2 Trimesters – Choice. Your ecosystem will target and identify your next Career Track, and the organizations that share your “personal and professional values”. Specifically, you will leverage your ecosystem to source for you career opportunities, respectively.
The NANYANG MBA CXC will continue to develop with you, your Talent EnREACH Ecosystem even after you become an NANYANG MBA Alumni, and way into your future.
