| Nanyang MBA participant wins essay competition at prestigious event in Cologne, Germany |
Mr Thomas Wai, MBA participant, won the essay competition on "Demographics Changes in Corporation" held at the 5th World Students' Summit and the 11th World Business Dialogue in Cologne, Germany in March 2007. The essay was published in the official documents of the event, several German websites and also translated to German and published in the Harvard Business Manager April 2007 issue. | NBS’ MBA Ranked Best in Singapore and Top 3 in Asia-Pacific |
| Nanyang Business School's (NBS) MBA programme has been ranked the best in Singapore and third in the Asia-Pacific region in the Financial Times' listing of the top MBAs in the world. NBS is placed in the 67th position, above local universities and well-known global names like Washington University's Olin School, the University of British Columbia's Sauder School of Business and Melbourne Business School of the University of Melbourne. NBS' MBA graduates scored well in terms of salary increase and diversity of students and faculty. On average, NBS' MBA graduates chalked up an increase of 110% in salary three years after graduation. Full-time MBAs have the benefit of cross-cultural learning from a diverse international population of participants and teaching faculty. |
| Nanyang takes a flexible approach |
| SONG Lin, who left China for Singapore in 2005, graduated from the Nanyang MBA program recently and is now an assurance executive at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Singapore. "My experience at Nanyang was rewarding as the course is designed to be very compact and demanding," says Song. "Participants need to run through a series of case studies and assignments, I learned a lot from my professors." |

| A team of MBA participants from Nanyang Business School emerged victorious at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad’s (IIM A) Annual International Management Summit. Confluence 2005 was a 4-day extravaganza from 24 to 27 November 2005, comprising competitive management games, seminars and workshops, where the top brass from industry and politics converged to inspire and enlighten the managers of tomorrow. |
| Double MBA from NTU and Waseda University |
| NTU President, Dr. Su Guaning, and Japan’s Waseda University President, Dr Katsuhiko Shirai, signed the Memorandum of Agreement for the double MBA degree programme on 20 April 2005. The new double Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree programme by NTU and Waseda University is of historic significance as it is the first time that a Japanese university is offering a degree programme outside Japan. |
| Nanyang Business School finishes in Top 4 in Business Plan Competition |
| The Nanyang Business School sent a team of MBA students to compete in the Asia Moot Corp 2005 Business Plan Competition held in Bangkok, Thailand last March 15 to 17, 2005. With their concept "Megamart", the NBS team came out at the top of its division and finished the competition as one of the top 4 finalists, beating out 16 other teams. |

| MBA participants win award at NTU Business Plan Competition |
| Two of our current MBA participants, Srividya Rathna and Souvik Bera, had teamed up with four students of the Engineering school to participate in this competition with their business plan – ‘NiviBio Nano Systems’.
