NBS Graduate Board member named Outstanding Chief Executive of the year

Nanyang Business School's Graduate Board member Ms Chong Siak Ching, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ascendas Pte Ltd, has been named OUTSTANDING CHIEF EXECUTIVE in the prestigious Singapore Business Awards 2009. She was honoured “For her steadfast leadership and dynamism in establishing Ascendas Pte Ltd as Asia's leading provider of business space with a presence in 10 countries across Asia''. Ms Chong received the award from Singapore Press Holdings Chairman, Dr Tony Tan, at a gala awards dinner at Shangri-La Hotel on March 24th. Finance Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam was the guest of honour at Singapore's oldest and most prestigious business awards event. The Singapore Business Awards started in 1984, honour the best in Singapore's business world. The Awards are jointly organised by The Business Times and DHL. |
