The convocation of 2009 was a special day for our 138 graduands who have only about a year earlier, joined The NANYANG MBA as aspiring leaders of tomorrow. Some of our foreign students have flown to Singapore from their home countries, especially for this occasion, many with the presence of their beloved families and friends.
One jubilant graduand, Geo Kushy, from India, was chosen to be the class valedictorian of 2009. Geo was an active Student Exco member and with his good grades, is placed on the Dean’s List. He is now based in Singapore and is a Team Manager (Customer Service Operations) with Proctor & Gamble. Geo remains an active member of the MBA Alumni Exco.
Amongst the graduands, is a husband and wife team, Thomas and Joelle. The enterprising duo have recently realized their dreams by setting up a new media company, providing Singapore with a new media avenue. With new knowledge and skills garnered from The NANYANG MBA, they have drawn up a unique business plan, and are very quickly building up a steady clientele base.
