1. Do you offer a general
MBA programme?
Yes. Besides the General MBA, we
also offer Specialised MBAs in Accountancy, Finance,
International Business, Marketing, Strategy Technology,
International Studies & Knowledge Management and the Doubles Masters.

2. Is this full-time or
part-time programme?
The NANYANG MBA is available both in full-time and part-time. You may click here for a comparison.
For Double Masters, only full-time option is available. |
3. Do you have a distance learning programme?
No.

4. How much is your programme fees?
For Academic Year 2010/2011, the programme fee is $50,000 for full-time and part-time, payable over 4 trimesters and 6 trimesters respectively. There is a S$5,000 enrolment fee payable upon acceptance of the offer of admission. The S$5,000 is deducted from your total fees.

5. What is the duration of your MBA programme?
General & Specialised MBA Full-time participants are given 4 trimesters (16 months) and part-time participants are given 8 trimesters (32 months) to complete the coursework. There are 3 trimesters in an academic year. Double Masters: NTU Waseda NTU - St Gallen NTU - Essec |

8. Where are the classes conducted?
The classes are either conducted at the main campus in Jurong or the downtown Executive Centre at one-north (off North Buona Vista Road).

Yes, you
are also eligible for application to CPA Australia.

1. What are the minimum entry requirements to the NANYANG MBA?

2. I do not have a Bachelor’s degree. Will you consider me if I have professional qualification only (e.g. ACCA, Diploma)?
No.

3. I have recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and do not have any / less than 2 years working experience.
Will my application be considered? No.
|

4. I am self-employed / running a family business since graduating with a Bachelor’s degree.
Will my application be considered? Yes, if you have been doing so for at least 2 years.

2. Is GMAT compulsory?
Yes. Therefore, you are strongly advised to take the GMAT early so as not to delay the processing of your applications. The institution code for NTU is V24-ZV-13. A good GMAT score will be viewed favourably in the assessment of the application.

3. What is the acceptable score for GMAT?
600 and above.

4. Can I submit my GMAT score report at a later
date?
Yes. Please submit your application online application (you may indicate the date of your GMAT test, if any) first and send your unofficial GMAT score report once you have taken the test. But note that assessment will only begin upon completeness of your supporting documents.

5. How long is my GMAT score valid?
5 years from test date.

6. Will you accept the GRE score?
Yes, although GMAT is preferred.

7. Is TOEFL manadatory? Can I ask to be exempted?
TOEFL is mandatory if English is not your native tongue or if your degree was not conducted exclusively in English.

8. What is an acceptable TOEFL score?
At least 600 for paper-based, 250 for computer-based and above 100 for internet-based tests. The institution code is 9705.

9. How long is my TOEFL score valid?
2 years from test date.

10. Can I substitute IELTS for TOEFL?
Yes, we accept IELTS as a substitute for TOEFL. The minimum Band score is 6.5

1. How many intakes do you have per year?
One. The main intake commences in August.
|
2. How do I apply?
Applications are online. Only online applications are accepted.
|
3. When should I submit the application form?
Application open in October. The deadlines for application are as follow:
Round 1 : 31 December 2009 If you are applying for scholarships, take note of the scholarship deadlines. |
4. What documents must I submit to support my application?

5. How much is the application fee?
S$50. Please pay online or by cheque. For international participants, please pay online or a bank draft with the clearing bank in Singapore and not by cheque.

6. What will I do after submitting my application?
Applications will be reviewed and a notification email will be sent to you to acknowledge your application completeness. You need not e-mail us during this busy period.
Assessment begins after the application deadline of each round. You will be notified if you have been shortlisted for an interview within 6 weeks after the application deadline of the round which you applied to. |

8. Can MBA (Accountancy) graduates qualify for ICPAS?

1. How many referee reports are required?
Two (2). All reports must be submitted in The NANYANG MBA template.

2. Who can be my
referee(s)?

3. Can
I submit the referee report by hard / soft copy?
Both types
are acceptable. The report can be hand or type written.
For hard copy, the signature of the referee must be by hand. Please indicate your application number on the envelope when posting your referees report. For soft
copy, the email must be sent by the referee’s company or organisation offical email address. Your referee may send in the referee
report via email to mba.admissions@ntu.edu.sg with the subject line
"Application Number M090XXXX - Referee report”. |

1. What are the documents
required?
The
financial supporting documents basically allow us to
understand how you will be financing for your programme
fee and living expenses. You can use more than one
financing option(s).
The supporting documents required for the respective financing options are as follow:
If you are not able to provide the
said documents as above, kindly enclosed a letter (with
the rest of the application supporting documents)
stating you financing options and the reasons for not
being able to provide the financial supporting
documents. |

2. Can I send in the rest of
my supporting document first and the
letter/statement of financial evidence later?
Yes. Please include a letter stating your financing option(s)
and that you will be providing it later. You may
email the documents to mba.admissions@ntu.edu.sg with the subject line:

1. Can I apply for more than
one scholarship?
Yes. you
may apply for more than one scholarships if you meet the
eligible criteria for the respective scholarships. For
the list of scholarships available, please refer HERE

2. How do I apply for the
scholarships?
For ASEAN,
APEC and NTU-MBA scholarships, please
apply for this scholarship by indicating in the
“Scholarship” portion of the online application form for
The NANYANG MBA. A separate application is not required.
For other scholarships, kindly refer HERE for the respective application procedures. Application and FULL supporting documents has to be
submitted before the respective scholarships deadline. |
