Trimester 2 (2009-2010)

Course Registration for Trimester 2 (2009- 2010)

9.00 am on Monday, 12 October 2009 to 9.00 am on Monday, 9 November 2009

Dear Participants,

If you have not completed your coursework, please register for your Trimester 2 (2009-2010) courses online via the NTU website at http://www.ntu.edu.sg and from the Quick Links, select GSLink.  Please login with your network account and password, which is the same as that for edveNTUre and then select “Course Registration – (MBA)”. The option "Course Registration – (MBA)" is listed as one of the services under "Academic - Course Registration".

During the course registration, you may register for up to a maximum six (6) courses for full time and four (4) courses for part time, including the recess course(s).  The maximum course load during term time (2 November 2009 to 22 February 2010) is capped at five (5) for full time and three (3) for part time.  This includes courses offered by other Schools and programmes.  You can also add or drop course(s) during the course registration period.

If you are a new participant (enrolled in this Trimester 2) -

Please click this button  to select your courses.

As a new participant, you can select up to a maximum of four (4) courses for full-time and two (2) courses for part-time.

Please check the pre-requisite(s) of selected  course(s).  For courses with pre-requisite(s) that can be offered concurrently, please register for the pre-requisite course(s) first.

To ensure quality class participation, the minimum class size is 20. However, this may vary from courses to courses. In the event that a class has to be cancelled due to the small number of participants registered, an announcement will be made via the NTU exchange email.  Hence, please ensure that your NTU exchange email account is in order.  Technical assistance can be sought from the helpdesk of the Centre for IT Services (email: helpdesk@ntu.edu.sg).

We would like to remind you of the following:

University regulations/procedures require that selection of courses for Trimester 2 (2009-2010) be completed by the end of the first week of the trimester. Selection must be made through the Internet by participants themselves. You can make changes, i.e."add-drop",until 9:00 am, 9 November 2009. Thereafter the registration system will be closed and no further changes can be made. You will be required to take the examination(s) for the course(s) registered against your name. If you do not do so, you will be deemed to have failed the course(s).On the other hand, if you had not previously registered for the course(s) during the selection period, you will not be allowed to sit the examination(s) of this (these) course(s) even if you had attended classes regularly.

In very exceptional cases, if a participant is allowed to withdraw from a registered course after the first week of the trimester, a “W” (withdraw) grade will be given against the course affected in his/her transcript.  Application to withdraw from a registered course after the first week of the trimester must be submitted in writing to Director, MBA Programme with documentary evidence/support.

Please note that NO AUDITING of classes is allowed.  You will not be allowed to attend courses which you have not

 registered for.

Please refer to the MBA website at http://www.nanyangmba.ntu.edu.sg/intranet/Participant/CourseReg.asp for the Course Timetable, Examination Schedule, Functional Courses to be offered, Pre-requisites and Academic Calendar and any other announcements.

Please note that all applications for waivers & substitutions must be submitted at least 2 weeks before the start of the trimester, and please do not register for courses that you are seeking for waivers.
